Brigade Road is one of the most important business centre and busiest shopping area of Bangalore. This road also connects M G Road and Residency Road within Bangalore.

It is dotted with complexes and stores of international brands. It has been the New Year celebration hub within the town for several years. It has several retailers, restaurants, pubs and alternative happening places. It forms the affiliation between MG Road and Hosur Road.

Commercial Street is another commercial area in Bangalore. M. G. Road is Mecca of shopping and is one of the busiest in the town. It is lined with retail stores, food retailers and restaurants. It has several office buildings, shops, and theatres. It has has also several branches of banks of national repute. Two metro stations server M. G. Road, and they are the eponymic station and Trinity.

Presently, the M.G Road avenue is being refurbished after the inauguration of the MG Road metro station was completed. The city’s metro line runs through MG Road connecting the eastern part of the city with the west.

Chickpet is another location for shopping enthusiasts under the South Bangalore Lok Sabha Constituency. Its roots date back to the sixteenth century. Whereas the area is quite familiar with shoppers, bad roads and drainage lines besiege it.
