Born in 1981 Yuvraj is an Indian international cricketer. He is an all-rounder by nature and bats left-handed in the middle order and bowls slow left-arm orthodox. Yuvraj has been playing for India since 2000 when he first played ODI’s and played his first Test match in 2003.

Yuvraj made his first-class debut in 1997 against Orissa during the 1997–98 Ranji Trophy. He played his first international match against Kenya in the year 2000.

Yuvraj had his share of difficulties since he joined international cricket. He struggled to score runs during crucial junctures and even failed miserably when it mattered most. However, given the luck favouring him he managed to survive with his batting skills and scored beyond the expectations of his team.

He was appointed as the vice captain of the team during the 2007 Twenty20 world cup due to his all round performance. His performance was above par and he won several awards in due course. He had to endure a minor setback when he was diagnosed with lung cancer but recovered well in time and joined the Indian squad for future tournaments.

During his IPL stint with Kings Eleven Punjab, he was at the helm of the affairs of the team for first two editions. Thereafter he played for Pune Warriors, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils and finally with Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was the most expensive player ever bought during the IPL Auctions in 2015.

He endorses several brands and owns a charity called YouWeCan involved in treating cancer patients. He has won many accolades and awards for his contribution towards sports in general and cricket in particular.

Finally, Yuvraj tied the know with Hazel Keech in 2016 after a brief relationship
