Living room concepts
Our living room should be a fine piece of work and at the same time, it should be extraordinary since it is the first room people view when they enter a house. Our living room should resemble an immaculate and modern dwelling space as per the latest trends and designs. Any modern living room would be elegant and stylish in appearance and builders take that extra effort to make the living spacious and livable all the time.
A living room also called the drawing-room has to be on a different scale and size compared to other rooms and one can make appropriate changes that suit their requirements. In my opinion, the living room should be furnished thoroughly and extensively as far as interior design technique is concerned. An interior designer has to keep several factors into account before designing a living room and any shortcomings while implementing it would be disgraceful.
If I were to design a living room then I would go for a bigger space rather than design a smaller one. Designing a bigger living room or hall has its own pros and cons. Apart from time and effort, an architect has to make sure that the design is currently in vogue and the complexity in implementing the project is eased considerably.
If you do not have an elaborate living room with a dynamic interior design concept then I think you should adopt the following steps to make your living room a room to reckon with.
Interior design methods are of two types and they are conventional and modern. In conventional design, one can adopt the designing concepts adopted in old bungalows and palaces.
Whereas in a modern method we can follow the latest trends adopted in large corporate offices and Hotels.
Colors for the wall should be either dark or light depending upon the ambiance of the room. It would be apt to go for bright colors for the walls and corresponding light colors for the doors and windows or vice versa.
Similarly, the fabric color for sofas and curtains should also correspond with the wall color because it enhances the beauty of a living room significantly.
All types of furniture should have bent edges and they should go well with the wall color precisely.
For a modern style of living room, we can have furniture placed strategically at the center of the living room or in a corner to have more space.
Watching television, reading or writing and or a get-together, whatever may be the occasion, it is prudent to have separate lighting arrangements for different tasks.
It is necessary to make sure that the living room is the place where we sit, talk, and have our guests most of the time. So a living room should be more appealing and elegant in style and look.
