Origin of the virus and aftermath
Novel Coronavirus (COVID19) is the latest threat the world has to confront with. It started as an ordinary virus in Wuhan China and later spread to a wider geographical area within china and overseas within three months. The latest statistics according to WHO show that the virus has spread its wings in around 200 countries around the globe.
The Coronavirus pandemic originated in china but the exact cause is still unknown though some sources point out to the virus prevalent in Bats. There is yet another theory, which supports the view that the virus spread from a lab in Wuhan. Whatever may be the case, it has its epicenter in china.
The world was unknown and naive until January when the number of corona positive cases began to surge in China. It was during that period the Chinese government conspired with the WHO to conceal the true nature of the virus and how it transmitted from one human to another with ease.
The epicenter of this virus went into virtual lockdown nearly 45 days after the outbreak of the epidemic. This resulted in mass casualties and there was a massive evacuation of all the expatriates who had to leave for their home countries with utter urgency.
Due to the exodus of millions from Wuhan with corona positive symptoms, the virus spread to other parts of the world and there were chaos and mayhem in all major cities and towns of Europe, America, and Africa.
In India, the virus made a late entry and we had the first case in late February and early March. The scores of Indian students airlifted from Wuhan after the outbreak of the virus had positive symptoms and this led to a surge in cases within days of their arrival.
With every passing day, positive cases are on the rise across the country and the current situation is alarming and very sensitive as far as virus data is concerned. The rate at which this virus has spread in our country is rather slow compared to other western countries but it has affected the young and the old with an increasing number of people testing positive each passing day.

In India, Ayurvedic medicines are widely consumed, and they can go a long way to treat corona positive cases. However, due to side effects such medicines have, it might prove detrimental for those who are allergic to such medicines and vice versa.
Siddha treatment is another remedy a corona positive person can avail but with conditions attached to it. In Tamil Nadu, Siddha medicine is in great demand and the state government has decided to use Siddha as an alternative way to treat corona positive patients apart from regular allopathic medicines.
In Germany Homeopathic, medicines are given to patients with Covid19 symptoms but the result is slow and effective. Recently India dispatched hydroxychloroquine tablets to several countries, which according to doctors is effective in treating the Coronavirus to a significant extent.
There is no vaccine yet for Coronavirus anywhere in the world but several countries have begun the research that goes into developing an effective vaccine that will cure the virus with greater immunity.
Therefore, this way there are several options on our table and it is up to the general public how to use these alternative remedies on the anvil.

Work from Home should be the option during Coronavirus
During Coronavirus, several cities and towns across India have been under lockdown mode for several days at a stretch. So going to the office is a foregone conclusion and the only option is to work from home until the situation normalizes.
Working from home is a norm in western countries particularly in the United States where very often employees are asked to operate from home whenever there is a need for such a situation. In India, the current lockdown has enabled us to work and operate from the confines of our homes with greater accuracy and efficiency.
With several offices shut throughout the country, the trend of working from home seems to catch up in our country where such a thing was unheard of until recently.
In India, few states are corona free and they have resumed economic activity along with other regular work with ease. The current situation stipulates that a person should avoid going to the office and work from home for his safety and health benefits.
Social gatherings and Parties should be a strict no
In India, with the arrival of expatriates and several MNCs Social Dos and Corporate parties take place at regular intervals. The current situation stipulates that frequent social gatherings should be avoided which would otherwise aggravate the virus spread to a significant extent.
Socialites, particularly party geeks tend to throw parties for a variety of reasons and such gatherings can become a cluster for the virus to spread everywhere. To prevent the virus from creating panic and mayhem, it would be prudent to stay away from all social gatherings for safety and health reasons.
People should abstain from shaking hands and hugging and instead extend greetings with folded hands during such a crisis. Keeping ourselves safe and impart others to follow suit should be the norm until the crisis abates.
Coronavirus is a lesson for all of us
The Novel Coronavirus has had a larger impact on the global population compared to other viruses like SARS, Avian Flu, Ebola, and Zika. The economic impact of the virus can run into several trillion dollars by the time the crisis ends and as result countries around the world have already started facing hardships in dealing with the imbroglio and the financial cost the virus would have on these countries is unimaginable.
So far, we have discussed all the possible impact the virus can have on our lives, its remedies and precautions we have to take to keep the virus at bay. The Novel Coronavirus, which has dealt a massive blow to the global economy, is going to remain with us for some time now. We have to learn to live with it, adapt, and adjust ourselves because there is no alternative other than keeping ourselves safe and secure during such a crisis.
This crisis has dealt a severe blow to the environment of several countries that were immune to such viruses. Several countries are scrambling to find a solution for Coronavirus with immediate effect and the world has to wait a bit longer for a vaccine to appear before the virus subsides.
We do not know exactly how the virus spread, nevertheless conflicting theories seem floating around us, but we have to make sure that we keep our surroundings and environment clean and tidy and avoid any contact with birds and animals for the time being.
We should stop pampering them frequently and keep them vaccinated for our safety and their well-being. We should vaccinate ourselves and sanitize every two hours whenever we are exposed to a living or non-living thing.
All of a sudden, we feel insecure due to the transmittable nature of the virus and as a result, wearing masks and hand gloves has become part of our lives and will remain so for time being.
This particular virus has taught us how to fend ourselves instead of relying on others for petty reasons. We have noticed that people, rich and poor are obliged to carry on their household duties with due respect and without hesitation.
This virus has taught us self-respect, self-reliance, and the value of life. We have realized how precious life is and it has been proved that wealth alone cannot solve all our problems.
We have to learn to live with it for some time now and we can only pray to almighty that the virus fades away as soon as possible and makes this world a safer place to live and work for time to come.
